Memorial Day Fun!

Well as most of you may or may not know. Our little family went to the Twin Cities this past weekend to watch the Twins game with my dad's extended family. It was a wonderful time!

We left Saturday around 11:30am and got to the Cities about 4:30pm. It was the longest car ride that Gannon has ever been on but he did great! Mixed up a few of the naps but everything worked out! We hung out with family members that night and went to a fun restaurant.

Sunday was the Twins game! It was a little walk to the stadium, we had strapped G in the baby backpack and away we went. That is actually a good invention, I used it at Wal-Mart yesterday, haha. The Twins ended up losing which Brad proceeded to rub in my face but its okay because the Indians lost that day too :)

We drove home early Monday morning and that was that! It was a good weekend with family, even though I am not sure that Amy and Nik liked sleeping in our room with a baby! Oh well, its good practice!

Today, it was back to work :( boo. But its gonna be a short week so that is something to look forward to. Gannon just got done eating some carrots and cereal and we are about to take a bath. But I will leave you with a few fun pictures of this weekend.

Our first family post!

I, Ashley Elbers, will try my hardest to update this as frequently as Gannon and time will allow. I hope that this post finds everyone well. If you are not sure where we are at in life currently, let me inform you.

Gannon Robert is now 5 1/2 months old. He is rolling over like a mad man and struggling with the crawling but he is definitely working hard at it. I have no doubt in my mind that it will happen sooner rather than later. Brad and I are planning on "Gannon-proofing" our house later this week. We are happy to tell you that he is mostly sleeping through the night, which is heaven on mom and dad. Gannon enjoys eating squash, taking baths, and long walks on the beach (I wish we had a beach, walks to the park will have to do :)

I plan on posting some pictures from this weekend here in a few minutes but I have to get G's squash out of the oven so I can finish this baby food making process for tonight. Until then, I will leave you with a picture of G eating his squash :)
